Elles Bailey Unveils Medicine Man Video And Announces 2019 Tour Dates

Elles Bailey has released a video for her new single, Medicine Man.
The track is the first to be shared from the smoky-voiced country and blues singer's upcoming second album, 'Road I Call Home', which is out on March 8. The colourful video, meanwhile, was shot in widescreen, with echoes of Twin Peaks, by director Jamie Luke Milligan. Discussing the song's title, Bailey said:
"The song was inspired by a con artist I managed to get myself entwined with. He reminded me of the medicine men: you know - the folks who used to go around in their horse and carts, peddling their 'miracle elixirs' when in fact they were just selling a whole load of nothing!
"It tells the story of getting tricked by the Medicine Man into his world, and going through a series of trials with people he has trapped previously, culminating in meeting him again at the end, and ultimately defeating him and getting away!"
For the follow up to her 2017 debut LP, 'Wildfire' features co-writing contributions from Roger Cook and storied and Bobby Wood, reuniting with Bailey having both worked on 'Wildfire'. She also collaborated on Little Piece of Heaven with Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys.
Bailey will support the release with tour dates in early 2019. Tickets go on sale at 10am on December 19.
