Disclosure Release Third New Track Expressing What Matters

Thursday, 27 February 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Disclosure have shared a third new track.

Expressing What Matters follows the previously released Tondo and Ecstasy, and heavily samples Lowdown by Boz Scaggs. Similar to its predecessors, the new song fully embraces the brothers' funk and disco influences. Guy and Howard Lawrence said:

"This track samples the legendary song Lowdown by Boz Scaggs. We really wanted to try and focus in on those wonderful backing vocals that permeate through the original and give it such soul. They ended up becoming the focal point of the entire track... bring chopped and skewed to their limit. The whole thing was one big audio science experiment for us."

The duo collaborated with Khalid on Know Your Worth earlier this month, while their most recent album, 'Caracal', was released in 2015.

Disclosure top the bill at London's Lovebox Festival in June.

Disclosure Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows

Sat June 13 2020 - LONDON Gunnersbury Park
