Chrissie Hynde Confirms Summer UK Shows Performing Bob Dylan Covers

Chrissie Hynde has lined up a run of intimate shows for the summer.
The Pretenders vocalist will take over London's Royal Opera House on July 29 and 30, followed by four nights at Edinburgh's Queen's Hall between August 22 and 25.
The socially distanced concerts will see Hynde performing stripped back acoustic reworks of Bob Dylan songs, along with tracks from her own band's back catalogue. Support will come from The Rails, with tickets on general sale at 12pm on June 25.
The announcement follows the release of her new covers LP honouring the legendary singer-songwriter, 'Standing In The Doorway: Chrissie Hynde Sings Bob Dylan'. A companion film called Tomorrow Is A Long Time, which details the recording of the album, is also available via Sky Arts.
