Deaf Havana Introduce Sixth Album 'The Present is a Foreign Land' With New Single Going Clear

Monday, 24 January 2022 Written by Laura Johnson

Deaf Havana have announced their new album.

'The Present is a Foreign Land', the follow-up to 2018's 'Rituals' and 2019's 'Live At Brixton Academy', will arrive on July 15. Introducing it online, they said:

"We are so excited to share 'Going Clear' with you all and to announce our new record 'The Present is a Foreign Land'. So much hard work and love has gone into this album and we can’t wait for you to hear it. Thanks for sticking by us - it all starts now."

The record will be their first as a duo, with James Veck-Gilodi and Matthew Veck-Gilodi remaining following the departure of bassist Lee Wilson and drummer Tom Ogden. The band broke the news in November with a statement you can read below.
