Queens Of The Stone Age Share Paper Machete Video, Announce Second Washington D.C. Show

Queens Of The Stone Age have shared a video for Paper Machete.

The clip is a collaboration with Beavertown Brewery and their creative team; Creative Director Nick Dwyer, and Black Dog Films’ Director and Animator Alice Bloomfield. The illustration is inspired by Beavertown's can artwork for their Snake Oil beer. Dwyer said:

“It’s absolutely mind-blowing to be working with Queens of The Stone Age. We’ve been massive fans of them forever. So, to have the opportunity to make a music video for them, let alone the only one they are doing, … well it hasn’t quite sunk in yet.”

The track, meanwhile, is lifted from QOTSA's new album, 'In Times New Roman...', which was released on June 16.

They'll support it with The End Is Nero Tour, which will travel across North America later this summer and fall, then to the UK and Ireland in November. They've recently added a second date at The Anthem in Washington, D.C. to the US run on August 14. Tickets for the new date go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (June 23).

This week, the renowned rockers will play huge outdoor shows in Halifax, Margate and Cardiff, following which they'll head to mainland Europe for festival appearances in late June and early July.
