Mayday Parade Share New Single Got Me All Wrong

Tuesday, 04 July 2023 Written by Jon Stickler

Mayday Parade have released a new song called Got Me All Wrong.

Following May single More Like A Crash, the energetic summer-ready pop-punk anthem arrives ahead of the Florida band's summer US dates, including shows with Yellowcard, Story Of The Year, and This Wild Life. Drummer Jake Bundrick said:

"Got Me All Wrong is about falling hard for someone but the other person isn’t on the same page. I met my wife on Warped Tour and the song is roughly about that. It didn’t happen immediately like I wanted but it eventually did and that’s what the song is about."

The five-piece will also appear at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky in September, and Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California in October. In November, they'll tour Australia alongside All Time Low.

The band released their most recent album and seventh overall, 'What It Means To Fall Apart', in 2021.
