Madi Diaz Enlists Kacey Musgraves For New Single Don't Do Me Good, Plots Spring North American Tour

Madi Diaz has teamed up with Kacey Musgraves for a new single, Don't Do Me Good.

The heart-wrenching duet will feature on the Nashville-based singer-songwriter's upcoming album, 'Weird Faith', due out on February 9 via Anti Records. Head below to view the accompanying video, directed by Elizabeth Olmstead. Diaz commented:

"This song is about that person that we keep coming back to no matter how many times they let us down. It's about waking up every day and making the choice to love a person unconditionally, while it’s simultaneously getting harder and harder to ignore that nothing is getting better in the relationship. It’s stubborn, it’s defiant, it's hopeful, and it's aggressively optimistic. It's about being a bit of a masochist and being so in love with the hard work of loving a person that you don’t know how to walk away from them."

Offering vocal harmonies over stripped back instrumentation, the ballad will be joined on the record by the previously unveiled lead single, Same Risk. Diaz shared that in October, alongside initial details of the LP, which was co-produced by Sam Cohen and Konrad Syder.

Diaz will support the follow-up to 2021's 'History Of A Feeling' with a newly announced headline North American tour in 2024. Support will come from Olivia Barton, Jack Van Cleaf and Daniel Nunnelee on select dates. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (November 17).
