2. GNR Newcastle

Hi there I also went to the gig in newcastle. I also agree that guns n roses rocked! the new bond sounded amazing. However the show wasnt without its flaws. They band didnt come on till 10:15 and kept us waiting and waiting all night in the sweaty arena!! Also the guitar sols done by the guitarists took ages and i thought were only used to fill up time. They only played one new song the blues. Also they went off at the end and didnt do Paradise City! People were already leaving early too because many of them had work the next day. Overall I enjoyed it but i was very unimpressed with Axls un professional behaviour and was annoyed with the rowdy fans at the front throwing things on stage which robbed the rest of us from Paradise City.

I went to the Guns and Roses gig @ Newcastle and it must have been one of the best Concerts i have ever been to alongside when the original line-up played wembley in 92' or Metallica in 93'. The biggest suprise was to see how good the new line up actually was - they were an absolutely fantastic band and give an amazing 2hour 15min set (which is very rare at any gigs nevermind rock gigs)and i really don't think the original band could have performed any better! Guns and Roses still rule! Bring on 'Chinese Democracy'! Hewi, Newcastle
