Slipknot Announce Here Comes The Pain North American Tour For Summer

Slipknot have announced the North American leg of their Here Comes The Pain Tour.

As part of the celebrations around the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, the Iowan metal icons have confirmed new shows in August and September.

The trek includes stops at New York City's Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles' Inuit Dome and Austin's Moody Center, with support on select dates coming from Knocked Loose, Orbit Culture and Vended, who are led by the sons of Slipknot's Corey Taylor and Shawn "Clown" Crahan. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (May 3).

The news follows details of Knotfest Iowa 2024, which will take place on September 21 at the Water Works Park in Des Moines. The event will be headlined by Slipknot, following sets from Rammstein singer Till Lindemann, Knocked Loose, Hatebreed, Poison The Well, GWAR, Vended, Dying Wish, Zulu, Twin Temple, Holy Wars, Swollen Teeth, Spine and Dose.

Slipknot will also headline Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple and Rocklahoma, among other US festivals, this summer, before continuing their milestone celebrations with winter shows across Europe and the UK. Tickets for those dates are on sale.

Last Thursday (April 25), Slipknot played a surprise set at an intimate venue in Pioneertown, California, which saw the nine-piece donning classic masks and the red boiler suits from their early years. The band also wore the same outfits for their headline set at Sick New World Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday (April 27).

The two shows marked the band's first performances with their new drummer, former Sepultura sticksman Eloy Casagrande. The group confirmed their newest member's identity with a post on Instagram earlier today (April 30), tagging Casagrande in a new photo of the band.

Slipknot released their latest album, 'The End, So Far', in 2022.
