Alt pop piano tinkler Tori Amos is set to hit the UK for a rare set of UK shows in September.
The singer will play four UK shows, in Manchester, Glasgow, London and Liverpool, her first appearances since selling out London's Savoy Theatre recently.
With everyone from Laura Marling to synth-pop newcomers Rosie And The Goldbug citing the singer as an influence, Amos has steadily racked-up an eclectic back catalogue since the release of her guitar-driven solo debut 'Little Earthquakes' in 1992.
Amos' tenth album 'Abnormally Attracted To Sin' is released today, the title again seeing the singer referencing religion, a reoccurring theme in her works. Her first on new label Universal Republic Records, the LP will come with an accompanying 'visualettes' series that provide a visual narrative.
The singer is then set to record a duet with Talking Heads' David Byrne on his album 'Here Lies Love'. A concept LP documenting the rise and fall of former First Lady of the phillipines Imelda Marcos, the project saw Fatboy Slim and 22 other guest performers work on the project.
