Earlier this afternoon media outlets began reporting the moonwalker had suffered a cardiac arrest and had been rushed to UCLA Medical Center shortly after 1 p.m. California time.

The Los Angeles Times is now reporting Jackson was taken to the medical center by paramedics responding to a call at his Los Angeles-area home shortly after 12:26 p.m.

TMZ reports paramedics performed CPR on Jackson while he was being transported to the medical center. The gossip site quotes an unidentified Jackson family member saying the King of Pop is in ?really bad shape.? The site also quotes family patriarch Joe saying, ?he is not doing well.?
