Arctic Monkeys Tour Bus Struck By Lightning |

 Whilst promoting their latest single “Crying Lightening” The Sheffield band’s tour bus was actually struck by a bolt of lightning. This conclusively proves that either the universe has a sense of humour, ironic coincidences do happen or nothing whatsoever.
There have been no reports of whether any band members cried.
Having won 24 awards in their career, including nine NME awards, three Q awards and Best British Group at the 2008 Q Awards, the band had no comment on whether some omnipotent power was trying to keep them great forever, because no-one asked them.
“We got struck near Hanover and the bus broke down,” lead singer Alex Turner told the press. “We had a nightmare journey but we’re trying our best to forget about it now.”
The Monkeys, provided they don’t get stuck down between now and then, will be touring in November.
Rumours that, just to be on the safe side, they're no longer releasing a single called “Brained by a Falling Piano” are completely untrue.
