 If anybody can tell us why they’re called Ocean Colour Scene, please do. It’s a brilliant name, but the internet is just refusing to give up the goods on this and we can’t get Steve Fowler on the blower. It would probably help if we had his phone number, so if anyone’s got that and wouldn’t mind passing it over…. They’re on tour by the way. Click here for tickets.
Twenty years, count ‘em, twenty years of top-notch British rock and roll shennanigans, have allowed multi-million selling OCS to put the finishing touches to their new album ‘Blue Sky Drinking’. They might not call it that in the end, but they’re sticking with it until someone thinks of something better.
The band are a big fan of their own fans. As a gesture of gratitude to the people who have got them and kept them where they are (and a nice spot of PR to boot. Cynical? Who?), OCS are giving away their next single for free. From Nov 19th, the song ‘Go to Sea’, will be available to download from oceancolourscene.com
