Bon Jovi O2 Arena Residency Rumoured E-mail
Written by Stereoboard.com

ImageBon Jovi are rumoured to be in discussions with promoters for a 20 night residency at London's 02 Arena for later this year.

Although the rumours have been officially played down by promoters AEG Live, the rumours of 20 dates at the venue between November and December 2009 are spreading like wildfire around the Internet.

The venue has been left vacant for a potential residency run after the untimely death of Michael Jackson in June 2009, where promoters had booked a 50 date residency at the venue right through into 2010.

Bon Jovi opened the former Millennium Dome venue in 2007 and are putting the finishing touches to their new album 'The Circle', which is due out later this year.

I have got tickets to see BJ at the o2 arena for the 22nd of june next year when doing the circle tour. It was a nightmare in getting a gd ticket however i wanted to be near the front as possible and the price was £500! I love jovi to bits but that is way to much to pay on a ticket and it dnt matter where u are in the 02 stadium the atmosphere is the best part of being there!

Prob been to almost 20 JB concerts over the years and never paid more than £45 and that was to stand and soak up the atmosphere. These prices are ridiculous ... to sit down!!!

I would love to see Bon Jovi at the O2 but i live in the North of the UK and with a family to support can't possibly justify the cost of the ticket and overnight accommodation. Be fair to your loyal fans BJ, visit the rest of the UK too.

I agree about Bon Jovis pricing structure, they need to make tickets more affordable

I am sooooo excited about this, i would want go to go and see Bon Jovi for each of the 20 nights should this be true but I believe that they might do a few shows at the o2, it would be great timing what with the Album release in November for a few promtional dates but 20....... I dont think so, they are planning a stadium tour next summer and in my opinion 20 nights at the o2 would seroiusly damage ticket sales for next summer.

I went to see them at the o2 a couple of years back and must say I much prefer to see them in stadiums. There was no standing section, only seats and I paid over £75 for a ticket and was seated right at the back!! Let's hope if they do get the residency they sort out proper pricing ans standing tickets!! Rock on BJ!!
