Bon Jovi Tour & Tickets Announced

The hair’s still big, the guitar’s still loud, the screaming fans may have to stop for a coughing fit but there’s another generation there to back them up. Like it or not, Bon Jovi are huge. I might even capitalize that… yep, I will. They’re HUGE. And on tour, of course. Click here for tickets.

They started in 1983 and haven’t stopped yet. Formed in Sayreville, New Jersey which, before it spawned Bon Jovi, was best known for its famous duck pond; the Duck’s Nest Pond. It was, apparently, a very good pond. It’s dried up now. The same can’t be said for Bon Jovi.

Their tour will bounce them around America and Canada, with a quick nip across the pond to the UK. The stadium-fillers will be playing at the O2 Arena. The O2 Arena was formerly known as The Millennium Dome, but was re-branded and reopened with a concert by Bon Jovi back in 2007. Now they’re playing there again. Their tour is called the Circle Tour. You can tell they’ve thought this through.

Their tour, plus a November 09 date, will look like this:

03 Nov - BBC Radio Theatre, London
07 Jun - The O2 Arena, London
08 Jun - The O2 Arena, London
Woah-oooh! We’re half-way there!
10 Jun - The O2 Arena, London
11 Jun - The O2 Arena, London
13 Jun - The O2 Arena, London

I`m another long time fan, seen them 14 times but refuse to be ripped off
I`ve loved Jovi for a number of years but as a fan I refuse to be ripped off, so once again I find myself sitting this tour out. I`m sorry I wont get to catch up with all my friends but I think prices need to get back to basics, so the very fans and people that the songs are about can actually afford to go. I`m standing up and saying no, I`m keeping my hard earned cash.

Actually, terry has a point. The Bon Jovi Experience are on tour too, a hard-times substitute maybe...

The tickets aren't on sale, but the prices are on the website. The £45 will be the ones they warn not to book if you have a fear of heights! Gold Circle tickets used to be £75-80 which was enough. I don't want to go if I can't get a good seat but I cannot justify £200 plus booking plus postage plus parking, plus...

There are a lot of real Jovi fans that are going to be disappointed. I've seen them 11 times but I guess next year won't be the 12 unless I win the lottery!

I have to ask: Did you use the price comparison bit of this site?

The tickets aren't on sale yet but when they are, you can get them for a cuddly £45.

Are you drunk maybe?

Just tried to get tickets from the O2 preferential service via Ticketmaster.

As a special favour there are £200 tickets! And no, these aren;t the fan-club golden circle ones - these are up in the Gods.

Mr Bon Jovi needs to understand that a) there's a recession b) he's not quite the star he think's he is and c) there are a lot of other OUTDOOR events to go to in June.

How gullible do we look? 5 nights at the O2, and NO DATES ELSEWHERE. It's not like there aren't any number of tribute bands that do a better job - for a fiver!

Game over, assh*le.
