They don’t like their name any more apparently. It’s more exciting than ‘The Canals’ which they used to be though, plus they named themselves after a chain of Indian restaurants, so there’s a chance they’ll be getting free curry. They’re not doing too bad out of it, they’ve had to add extra dates to their tour. Click here for tickets.
The Crouch End boys won the Road to V in 2006 and opened the festival to enough acclaim to make them festival regulars over the next few years. BBC (that’s a confusing acronym, let’s call them BB Club) are re-releasing ‘Always Like This’ on November 23rd. It was the track from their debut album ‘I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose’ that catapulted BB Club to Famesville. The re-release has already been added to the Radio1 Playlist and is certain to do good things for them again.
Since their October tour sold out so fast that nobody actually managed to get tickets, BB Club have announced these extra gigs:
Dec 10 - O2 Academy 2, Liverpool
Dec 11 - O2 Academy 2, Birmingham
Dec 13 - O2 Academy 2, Newcastle
Dec 14 - Oran Mor, Glasgow
Dec 17 - O2 Academy 2, Bristol
Dec 18 - Koko, London
