Apart from being dreamily laid back (its the vocals what do it), even in their most bouncey, mental songs, Hot Chip electronically fuse oddness to popness, taking pinches of everything from Timbaland to Prince to Basement Jaxx along the way.
Currently adding the finishing touches to their fourth, as yet untitled, album, the quintet of Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard, Al Doyle, Felix Martin and Owen Clarke have announced a return to the live arena that will see them swarm over the UK like a five-headed pop bastard.
