Cheap Trick Announce Details Of Three UK Gigs & Tickets

Power pop-rockers Cheap Trick have announced a trio of UK dates in support of their latest album, aptly titled, ‘The Latest’.
Formed in Illinois in 1974, Cheap Trick are veterans of the music scene creating their own brand of power pop music with an edgy yet melodic pop sound that combines the sound of The Beatles with the speed and energy of punk rock.
The four-piece consisting of Robin Zander (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar, backing vocals), Tom Petersson (electric bass, backing vocals) and bun E Carlos (drums, percussion) have formed a substantial fan base through their music. American newspaper, The Los Angeles Times described the group’s rise to fame as “becoming popular by twisting the Beatlesque into something shinier, harder, more American.” The Illinois State Senate has eve declared April 1st to be “Cheap Trick Day” in the State!
Churning out hits such as “Surrender”, “I Want You To Want Me”, “Dream Police” and “The Flame”, Cheap Trick continue to tour with their most well known line-up. Being referred to in the Japanese press as the “American Beatles”, the band has also been ranked at Number 25 in VH1’s list of the Top 100 Greatest Artists Of Hard Rock.
The American rockers will hit the UK this November with three performances to be played at venues in Glasgow, Manchester and London.
