Courtney Love is an American alt-rock, punk and power pop singer-songwriter and musician hailing from San Francisco, California. Born in 1964, she endured a tough childhood and upbringing, finding herself in trouble on more than a couple of occasions. She would later escape into music and acting.
Start bands early on (which even included a very short stint as a member of Faith No More), she would go on to form her now-infamous band Hole, and embarking on one of her most famous partnerships yet - a marriage to late Nirvana star Kurt Cobain. Throughout the 90’s, despite the death of both Cobain and bandmate Kristen Pfaff, she and Hole became a globally-renowned, platinum-selling, festival-headlining band that would even earn a Top 10 record finish with 1998’s ‘Celebrity Skin’. Having released one ‘solo’ record in ‘America’s Sweetheart’ back in the Noughties, she returns in 2014 with brand new collection ‘Died Blonde’.
