Cytota are an English melodic metal outfit hailing from Birmingham. Formed in 2009, the band consists of frontman Joby Fitzgerald, Youssef Ashraf and Ryan Hamilton, bassist Oliver Pike, and Harry Jennings.
Inspired by the big Birmingham names that tore up venues in their youth, like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Napalm Death, and Judas Priest, Cytota have spent their first five years gigging and recording demos, and have since earned themselves a deal with Sony.
