Dick Valentine is the alias of Tyler Spencer - or, as you probably know him better, the frontman of eccentric rockers Electric Six, who gave us hits like ‘Gay Bar’ and ‘Danger! High Voltage’ back in 2003. Though the band are still going strong - having released eight studio albums - Spencer has also now embarked on a solo career.

Electric Six were an odd band to say the least, so it’s no surprise that ‘Destroy the Children’, Valentine’s acoustic debut solo album, is rather odd too - he described it as ‘acoustic exploration of uneasy topics. Released in May 2012, he embarked on his first solo tour around the same time - catch him touring the UK once again in May 2013.
