Don Henley is an American singer, songwriter, producer and musician, from Gilmer, Texas, best known as the drummer, and co-vocalist in The Eagles.

After The Eagles split in 1980, he launched a solo career, releasing his debut album, ’I Can't Stand Still’, in 1982, spawning the single Dirty Laundry, which reached #3 in the Billboard Hot 100.

His second album, ‘Building the Perfect Beast’, was released in 1984, with the single The Boys of Summer, hitting in #5 and winning him the Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. He released his third album, ‘The End of the Innocence’ in 1986 and after an 11 year gap his fourth album, ‘Inside Job’, came out in 2000. His last album was ‘Cass County’ in 2015.

In 2016, Don Henley hit the UK and Ireland for shows around his Hyde Park British Summer Time performance in support of Carole King, as well as playing shows in Australia and New Zealand, including three A Day on the Green concerts.
