Edguy is a German power metal outfit hailing from Fulda. Formed in 1992 by Tobias Sammet (aged 14 at the time), the band also consists of guitarists Jens Ludwig and Dirk Sauer, bassist Tobias Exxel, and drummer Felix Bohnke. They’re signed to the mighty Nuclear Blast Records.
Earning their first deal back in 1997, it wasn’t long before their first feature-length collection ‘Kingdom of Madness’ hit shelves. As the years flew by, they soon found themselves charting across Europe, and even reached the dizzy heights of the Top 3 in their homecountry. In 2014, they return with ‘Space Police: Defenders of the Crown’, their tenth album - check below to find tickets for their trio of UK dates this September!
