Fat Joe is the moniker used by American rapper and actor Joseph Antonio Cartagena from the Bronx. He began his music career as a member of hip hop group Diggin' in the Crates Crew (D.I.T.C.), then forged a solo career and set up his own label, Terror Squad.
Fat Joe's debut solo album, 'Represent', was released in 1993, yet his most commercially successful album was his fourth, 2001's 'Jealous Ones Still Envy (J.O.S.E.)'. Six more solo albums have followed to date, as well as a handful of collaborative records, his latest being 2019's 'Family Ties' with Dre.
