Fear are a hardcore punk band from Los Angeles, California.
Formed in 1977, the band began gaining attention after they appeared in the documentary The Decline of Western Civilization in 1981, which led to them signing with Slash Records. In 1982, they released their debut album, ‘The Record’, followed by a further three records to date. Their most recent, 'American Beer', arrived in 2000.
