Fightstar are an alt-rock and post-hardcore band from London.
Consisting of Charlie Simpson, Alex Westaway, Dan Haigh and Omar Abidi, the band formed in 2003, with an additional hurdle to overcome within their genre due to Simpson being a member of the massively successful pop band, Busted. The release of their debut album, 2006's 'Grand Unification', cemented their reputation as a serious force to be reckoned with. The three LPs that followed earned the band the respect they deserve as artists in their own right, achieving critical acclaim across their career, before announcing their indefinite hiatus in 2015, shortly after the release of 'Behind The Devil's Back'. With the members going on to pursue other projects in the years that followed, the band announced their return to the stage in 2023.
