Future of the Left are a Welsh alternative rock group from Cardiff, currently consisting of two of the remaining original members, frontman Andy ‘Falco’ Falkous and drummer Jack Egglestone, alongside bassist Julia Ruzicka.
Formed in 2005, after the disbandment of Mclusky and Jarcrew, the band released their debut album,‘Curses’, in 2007, which was followed-up by ‘Travels with Myself and Another’ in 2009. Their third album, ‘The Plot Against Common Sense’, was released in 2012, for which they won the Welsh Music Prize, followed by ‘How To Stop Your Brain In An Accident', released in 2013. The band’s latest album, ‘The Peace and Truce of Future of the Left’, came out in April 2016. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK and have performed at festivals such as Reading and Leeds and supported the likes of Against Me! and Les Savy Fav. Future Of The Left played Cardiff's Clwb Ifor Bach in January 2017, and in January 2018, they head to Australia for the first time ever.
