Hacktivist are a rap metal band from Milton Keynes, consisting of Jermaine "J" Hurley—formerly of Heart of a Coward—along with Josh Gurner, Richard Hawking, Jot Maxi and James Hewit.
Formed in 2011, they self-released a self-titled EP in 2012, followed by their debut album, ‘Outside the Box’, in 2016. Their most recent serving comes in the shape of 2021's 'Hyperdialect'. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, as well as having supported the likes of Enter Shikari and Korn and making appearances at Download and Sonisphere Festival.
