Hey Violet are a pop rock band from California, USA, consisting of Rena Lovelis, Miranda Miller, Nia Lovelis, Casey Moreta and Iain Shipp.

The band was formed by the former members of hard rock band Cherri Bomb, with Julia Pierce, on guitar and lead vocals, when the group was at school. They signed to Hollywood Records, and released their debut album, ‘This Is The End of Contol’ in 2012.

In 2013 Julia Pierce announced she was leaving the band and the rest of the members decided on a musical change in direction and a name change. In 2015, they signed to 5 Seconds of Summer’s Hi or Hey Records, and released an EP, ‘I Can Feel It’, which was followed by another EP, ‘Brand New Moves’, in 2016. The band are set to release their debut album, ‘From the Outside’, on June 16, 2017, by 5Mode and Capitol Records.
