Amy Winehouse Felt Threatened By Adele Success, Says Mark Ronson

Record producer and songwriter Mark Ronson has revealed that late soul singer Amy Winehouse was 'upset' over superstar Adele's success before she passed away though he added that she was a fan of her.
 Winehouse was a world-famous singer herself but was apparently threatened by the remarkable success of Adele, who's sophomore album '21' has now become one of the best-selling albums of all time. But, while she 'freaked out' over the ditzy heights that her Tottenham-born counterpart had reached, Winehouse wasn't a hater and did 'like' Adele's music.
Talking of his late friend Winehouse, Ronson told The Village Voice: She was in a bad state, God knows why. I think that the Adele thing had Amy freaked out. She liked her, but Adele's success was making Amy feel upset, competitive, restless. Anyway, we lost touch briefly. And before she and I could really start the process of beginning a new album, it was too late.
Winehouse had no reason to be concerned though, and she was doing very well to herself her album 'Back in Black' is the second best-selling album of the 21st Century, before Adele's '21'.
