Following the Sunday 27th May release of their debut single ‘When She Was Mine’, Lawson will be busking at St Martin’s Square in Birmingham today 31st May! The band will be performing at 5.30pm and meeting fans afterwards before playing their sold-out show at The Temple Institute.
Lawson have been traveling the country on their sold-out headline tour which reached London last night for their biggest show to date. Tonight will be the last night of the tour in Birmingham before the band go on to play a Summer of festivals including T in the Park, Hard Rock Calling, V Festival and the Capital Summertime Ball.
Lawson’s debut single, ‘When She Was Mine’, is out now and was written by Lawson frontman Andy Brown and produced by Grammy Award winner John Shanks. Joining Andy in Lawson are Joel Peat (lead guitar), Adam Pitts (drums), and Ryan Fletcher (bass).
Respectively from Liverpool, Mansfield, Brighton and Chesterfield, Lawson formed in 2009 and spent over two years gigging and writing songs before signing to Polydor/Global Talent in autumn last year. Their debut album, also produced by John Shanks, will be released later this year.
