Electro-pop duo The Ting Tings have been forced to cancel their forthcoming UK and Ireland tour due to logistical reasons.
Following their live return with a run of live UK shows in November last year, The Ting Tings were due to head out on the road in June to support their latest album 'Sounds From Nowheresville'. Today the duo have confirmed that the tour has been scrapped due to logistical issues.
Since their formation in 2006, when they started out playing private house parties in their native Manchester, The Ting Tings have been making waves up and down the country. Their 2008 album 'We Started Nothing' charted at Number One in the UK and has gone on to sell over 2 million copies, with a further 4 million singles sold worldwide. Their second studio album, 'Sounds from Nowheresville', was released in February. The video for 'Hang It Up', the lead single from the album, can be seen below.

June 20th - Dublin The Academy - CANCELLED
June 22nd - London O2 Shepherds Bush Empire - CANCELLED
June 25th - Manchester Ritz - CANCELLED
June 26th - Glasgow Queen Margaret Reunion - CANCELLED
