Eccentric pop superstar Lady Gaga has reassured her friends, fans and family that she’s okay after suffering a concussion performing a show in New Zealand, as part of her Born This Way Ball world tour.
The talented singer was performing her track ‘Judas’ whilst onstage in Auckland, New Zealand, when she suffered an injury to her head – after one clumsy dancer accidentally hit her in the head with a metal prop. Gaga was left with a black eye and had to go for an MRI scan – which luckily showed doctors that there was no real damage to the star.
Writing via Twitter, Gaga has said of the incident: “Thank you so much for all the thoughtful messages. I feel a bit woozy but a little better every day. Very happy to be in beautiful Australia. Went for an MRI. No harm from the concussion but it appears my brain is just water and a large floating jellyfish.”
She then wrote to her father Joe Germanotta: “@germanottajoe i had them check my noodle. That was your father's day present Il mio babbo!! I thought they were taking me to the zoo. TRICKS.”
If you’re a fan of Gaga, make sure you don’t miss her when she heads to the UK as part of her world tour. Check the dates and details below to find out more.
