The Smashing Pumpkins are celebrating the release of their latest album 'Oceania' with a giveaway of five, limited edition canvas art prints of the album cover along with a copy of the record on double vinyl.
Click here to enter the competition to win a limited-edition, autographed canvas print of the artwork. Five winners will receive a canvas plus a copy of Oceania on vinyl.
Marking The Smashing Pumpkins' 7th studio record, 'Oceania' is "an album within an album," part of their 44-song work-in-progress entitled 'Teargarden by Kaleidyscope'. It was recorded at singer/guitarist Billy Corgan's private studio in Chicago with his band mates (guitarist Jeff Schroeder, drummer Mike Byrne, and bassist/vocalist Nicole Fiorentino), and was produced by Corgan and Bjorn Thorsrud with mixing by David Bottrill.
The Smashing Pumpkins released 'Oceania' on June 19th. It debuted on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart at Number 4. It also earned the Number 1 spot on the Independent Albums Chart, and is the second highest debuting independent album this year.
