American rockers Baroness have updated fans on their condition following their horror crash on Wednesday morning, which saw their tour bus plummet 30ft from a viaduct near Bristol.
The incident, which occurred at about 11:30am on Wednesday morning, left all nine people on board injured - two of which were trapped when firefighters arrived on the scene. Now, the full extent of the injuries of the band have been revealed - and it seems some of them have luckily escaped with just scratches and bruises.
The latest statement from the band, posted via their official Facebook page, reads: “The band members of Baroness and their crew are recovering from injuries sustained after their tour bus crashed outside of Bath, England early on Wednesday morning. John Baizley has broken his left arm and left leg. Allen Blickle and Matt Maggioni each suffered fractured vertebrae. All three remain in the hospital as of this writing.
“Pete Adams has been treated and released from the hospital. Three of the five crew members who were on the bus have also been treated and released. One member is still undergoing testing. The driver of the bus remains in critical condition. Please stay tuned for further updates. Thank you for all the support during this extremely difficult time.”
They’ve been forced to cancel their UK tour, which they were in the process of completing during the crash, and could be out of the live game for a couple of months. Stay with Stereoboard to find out more on this story as it surfaces.
