Rod Stewart To Perform Alongside Kylie Minogue And Michael Buble in ITV Christmas Special

Grammy-Award winner and one of the most successful performers of all time Rod Stewart will showcase a collection of Christmas songs for an ITV special later on this year.
Stewart will perform Christmas themed collaborations with various artists which will be filmed at Scotland’s Stirling Castle on Wednesday 21st November 2012, though the ITV air date is yet to be confirmed. Speaking of the special, ITV Controller of Entertainment, John Kaye Cooper said, “Rod, Kylie and Michael - three of the worlds biggest music stars in one very special Christmas show for ITV viewers”.
International singing superstar and three time Grammy Award winner, Michael Buble will make a guest appearance on the show, following the recent announcement of his Summer 2013 UK tour which sold out in the O2 in just three minutes. Kylie Minogue labelled in February of this year as number 47 as one of the Greatest Women In Music is also set to perform in this exclusive ITV special. Stewart says, “Christmas comes early for me this year. I’m really looking forward to singing with Kylie and Michael”.
The ITV Special will support Stewarts recently released holiday album “Merry Christmas Baby”, released on October 30th. The LP includes collaborations with big names such as Michael Buble, Cee Lo Green and Mary J Blige among others.
Though tour dates have been confirmed for Buble following his recent London O2 residency announcement, Stewart has yet to announce any official UK tour dates after releasing his festive album which came out earlier this year - though we expect something to be announced soon.
