The waiting is finally over – The Rolling Stones will perform their ’50 and Counting’ live concerts starting this weekend on Sunday 25th November at The O2 Arena in London.
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood will hit the stage at 8PM, with a set list packed with hits, classics, and one or two surprises.
There is no support act for these concerts, The Stones will perform for over two hours to deliver a stunning show to celebrate five decades treading the boards. Ticketholders are asked to make their way to the venue in time for this early Stones onstage time of 8pm.
Stones fans will be delighted to hear that Stones legends Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor are confirmed as special guests for these London shows. This will be the first time they have performed with the band for over 20 years.
The Rolling Stones will play a second night at The O2 Arena London on Thursday 29th November, before heading across the Atlantic for three shows: Barclay Center, Brooklyn on Saturday 8th December, and the Prudential Center, Newark NJ on Thursday 13th and Saturday 15th December.
The final show will be telecast live via pay-per-view at 9pm ET. The pay-per-view entitled “One More Shot” will be distributed by WWE. Further details are over at www.rollingstones.com.
In other news, last night The Rolling Stones premièred the video for their new track 'Doom And Gloom'. Directed by Jonas Ackerlund, the video stars Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie, as well as Noomi Rapace.
