Download Festival chief promoter Andy Copping has just confirmed via Twitter that Bullet For My Valentine have been added to the 2013 line-up.
The announcement was made this aftenoon after Bullet For My Valentine mistakenly posted Download Festival dates on the tour page of their official website. Andy Copping tweeted:

Download Festival organisers recently added a string of new acts to next year's line-up. Joining the main stage headliners Iron Maiden, Slipknot and Rammstein on the 2013 bill will be Queens of the Stone Age, Thirty Seconds To Mars, The Gaslight Anthem, Motorhead, HIM, A Day To Remember, Alice in Chains and Volbeatand. The lead-up to next year's Download will see the Welsh rockers embark on a UK tour during March 2013, stopping off in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London en-route.
BFMV will release their fourth studio album ‘Temper Temper’ on 11th February 2013, and lead track 'Temper Temper' is set for release on November 25th.
The album 'Temper Temper' has been produced by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park / Pearl Jam) who worked with the band on their previous album, 2010’s ‘Fever,’ and was recorded in Thailand and Wales.
