Ghost, Gojira And The Defiled Confirmed For 2013 Jägermeister Music Tour

Jägermeister has announced its third Jägermeister Music Tour for March 2013. The six-date tour will be headlined by the mysterious cult known as Ghost.
The secretive Swedes were spewed out of the bowels of hell and into ears of music fans with the release of their 'Opus Eponymous' in late 2010, a collection of pulsating heavy rock that has won over fans and critics alike, cementing their destiny as the next big thing in rock. The Jägermeister Music Tour is their first major headliner run in this country, and the perfect vehicle for Papa Emeritus and his Nameless Ghouls to spread their diabolical message of evil and thus bring about the collapse of humanity.
Two of metal’s heaviest hitters join Ghost to provide support. Hot off a sold-out tour of the UK earlier this month, French metal goliaths Gojira return to devastate the crowds with the hulking riffs, polyrhythmic pummelling and blood-chilling growls that their though provoking brand of metal offers.
Speaking about the new tour, Gojira said: “We can't wait to get back to the UK and kick some more ass!!! The fans in the UK give off some of the best energy, and we'll be right there to give it back."
The touring line up is completed by hotly-tipped UK metallers The Defiled who are part of the Jägermeister UK music programme. Possibly the hottest band on the British metal scene, The Defiled win over fans everywhere they play with their simultaneously crushing and melodic, brutal and beautiful industrial metal and a live show that is second to none.
The Defiled vocalist, Stitch D says: “We're over the moon to announce we will be a part of next years Jägermeister music tour. This will be the 3rd year we've been a part of it and this year will be the biggest and the best one yet! And to be on the same bill as probably our favourite band at the moment, Ghost, and the mighty Gojira is an absolute honour! Can't wait! Bring on the Jäger!”
A local support will be announced for each show in the coming weeks.

Mar 20th – Bristol O2 Academy
Mar 22nd – Bournemouth O2 Academy
Mar 23rd – Birmingham O2 Academy
Mar 24th – Brixton O2 Academy
Last year’s tour saw Skindred, Therapy? and Black Spiders play to over 12,500 music fans up and down the country, including a ram-packed O2 Academy Brixton in London on Friday 13th April.
