English pop singer-songwriter and former Take That star Robbie Williams has topped the Stereoboard Hot Tickets chart this week, with his summer 2013 UK stadium tour becoming an instant hit with our readers and ticket-buyers since it was announced late on last month.
Featuring music from his brand new album ‘Take the Crown’, his chart-topping back catalogue, and his good friend Olly Murs - who also recently topped the UK Albums chart - the tour is set to be one of the biggest tours of next summer, and is also Robbie’s first excursion in over six years.
Also featuring in the Top 10 is For the Love of Mrs Brown - the brand new Mrs Brown stage production from Brendan O’Carroll’s BAFTA award-winning sitcom Mrs Brown’s Boys - and rock legend Rod Stewart, who complete the Top 3.
Canadian superstar Michael Buble was always going to feature in the last, and so were rock and roll icons The Rolling Stones, who’s 50th anniversary shows were the talk of the town earlier this year.
One Direction’s brand new album ‘Take Me Home’ has ensured that fans are still snapping up tickets for their 2013 UK tour, while Mumford and Sons kick off the latter part of their Tour of Two Halves, which now sees them performing arenas as opposed to theatres and halls.
