Australian psych-rockers Tame Impala have unveiled the brand new music video to their track ‘Mind Mischief’, out March 4th.
Directed by Colonel Blimp's David Wilson (Passion Pit, Metronomy) featuring both live action and Tame Impala’s signature trippy psychedelic animated visuals, the video shows a schoolboy’s fantasy sex romp with one particularly come-hither teacher. You can check it out below - it’s racked up almost 100,000 views already.
The video was co-produced by Urban Outfitters as the twelfth installment of their UO Music Video Series. In conjunction with the music video premiere today, they've released a behind the scenes video with director David Wilson, as well as a blog featuring an interview with Tame Impala and photos from the set - you can check those out here.
In the past two years of the UO Music Video Series, Urban Outfitters has helped produce music videos for How to Dress Well, Peaking Lights, Frankie Rose, The Walkmen, Nick Waterhouse, Cloud Nothings, Black Lips, Spank Rock, The War on Drugs, Beach Fossils, and Toro Y Moi.
The 'Mind Mischief' single package, with remixes by Ducktails and The Field, will be available in digital and vinyl formats 4th March in the UK and Europe. Previous single 'Feels Like We Only Go Backwards' also gets another push in the UK, released 25th March on Modular.
Check out the video below - don't miss Tame Impala when they hit London's Hammersmith Apollo this June.
