JLS, The Wanted, Rita Ora, Lawson, Conor Maynard & More Confirmed For 'North East Live' Pop Festival

Some of the biggest names in pop will be brought together this summer for a one-off festival at Sunderland's Stadium Of Light on Saturday 22nd June.
 JLS, The Wanted, Rita Ora, Little Mix, Lawson, Conor Maynard, Stooshe, Union J, Amelia Lily and more will take to the stage for the North East’s biggest ever pop show ‘North East Live’.
Brought to you by AEG Live, the family-friendly ‘North East Live’ extravaganza will be headlined by chart-topping boy band, JLS. The Wanted, Rita Ora, Little Mix, Lawson, Conor Maynard, Stooshe, Union J, Amelia Lily and more complete the line-up.
The event will cap a stunning month of live music at the Stadium of Light, which includes visits from both Bon Jovi and Rihanna.
Speaking about the event, SAFC commercial director Gary Hutchinson says: “This is a change from the type of music event the Stadium of Light has staged previously and it’s a really exciting development for us. It’s a brilliant line up and one that I’m sure will appeal to a wide audience.
“The tremendous work of Sunderland City Council has made this possible, along with support from a range of partners across the region. We’re delighted to be working with AEG on this event and to be playing a key role in bringing the best music events to the North East as well as showcasing our own regional talent.
“We’ve already seen that there is a huge demand for live music here in the region and this multi-artist event has something for everyone, at an affordable price for a great day’s entertainment.”
North East Live Tickets, which are priced from just £25, will be in huge demand when they go on sale from 9am on Friday 8th February.
