Ana Free Announces One-Off London Show & Tickets

Ana Free, self-described as the female John Mayer, has announced she will play a date at the Barfly in London later this year, in September.

With over 20 million unique views of her videos, Ana Free, a singer-songwriter from Portugal, has garnered her fair share of the exploding new media audience. Ana posted her first video online in January of 2007 and quickly became one of the most subscribed musicians of all time, with an opt-in subscriber base of over 55,000 loyal fans who tune in routinely to catch all her latest music and performance videos.

Ana's position as an Internet "fan-omenon" has led to equally overwhelming attention from the mainstream media, as she has appeared on national television programming including RTP, TVI and SIC in Portugal and has also received consistent airplay on top radio stations, including RFM, Radio Commercial and Antena 3.

Her first single "In My Place" quickly earned recognition with the highest debut on "Top 40" radio in Portugal in its first week, "greatest gain" in its second week, "top 5" status the third week and subsequently climbed the "Euro Top 200" chart as well. "In My Place" also shot to "number 1" on iTunes in Portugal and has remained on the charts for over a year after release.

Ana's music has been featured in various national advertising campaigns, television programs such as "Podia Acabar o Mundo" and compilations including "NOW 19." She was selected by Disney to sing the theme song for the Portuguese release of its family feature film "Tinkerbell."

Ana's music video for her second single "Keep on Walking" debuted on the MTV Tops list and earned a "retirement honor" for its reign at the top of the charts. She was recently featured prominently on a Times Square billboard in New York City with stateside debut performances in New York and Miami. Ana Free's musical presence has gained substantial international media attention from radio stations, online media and press outlets across the globe, particularly in Portugal, France, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Spain, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Ana Free was born in Lisbon, but grew up in a small town in the suburbs called Cascais. She began composing songs at age 10 after her father taught her how to play basic chords on the guitar, and she has now written over 300 full compositions.

With the upcoming European release of her acoustic-influenced debut EP "Radian" Ana Free looks to reach more ears and to touch more hearts with her impending tour and fun-filled promotional campaign. Don't miss the chance to see Ana Free live this autumn:
