Stereophonics are an indie-rock band from Cwmaman, Wales, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Kelly Jones, bassist Richard Jones, drummer Jamie Morrison and guitarist Adam Zindani.
The band released their debut album, 'Word Gets Around' in 1997, and a series of #1 records followed, including 1999's 'Performance and Cocktails', 2001's 'Just Enough Education To Perform' and 'Language. Sex. Violence. Other?' in 2005. Their latest full-length release came in the shape of 2022's 'Oochya!', which serves as their twelfth studio album. Widely recognised as a favourite on the British festival scene, they have landed headline slots at many of the UK’s most popular and iconic festivals, including T in the Park, Reading and Leeds, Kendal Calling, Latitude, Glastonbury, V and the Isle of Wight Festival. Stereophonics have a number of headline slots lined up for August 2022, including Belfast's Custom House Square, Hardwick Festival in Sedgefield, Victorious Festival in Portsmouth and The Big Feastival in Kingham.
