Kvelertak are a Norwegian heavy metal band from Stavanger, consisting of frontman Erlend Hjelvik, guitarists Vidar Landa, Bjarte Lund Rolland, and Maciek Ofstad, bass player Marvin Nygaard and drummer Kjetil Gjermundrød.
Formed in 2007, the band released their eponymous debut album in 2010, followed by ‘Meir’ in 2013, which hit the top spot in the Norwegian albums chart. Then came ‘Nattesferd’ in 2016 and their latest LP, 'Splid', in 2020. Kvelertak have rescheduled their headline UK and European tour to early 2022.
