Land of Talk is a Canadian indie rock project fronted by singer and guitarist Elizabeth Powell. Formed in 2006 and based in Montreal, Powell and her band would go on to become a popular act across North America, releasing two records - 'Some Are Lakes' and 'Cloak and Cipher' - before entering hiatus in 2011.
Returning in 2015 for live shows, Land of Talk would slowly but surely jump back on the bandwagon, and are now set to release a brand new album, 'Life After Youth', in May 2017.
