Now based in North California, she has been working in music for over five years, but got her break rather recently, having seen her track Love is Won played in the credits in the penultimate episode in the first series of TV series Girls in 2012.
Since then, she has seen her profile take off and managed to amass a global fanbase, who compare her singing to that of Kate Bush, Cat Power, Tori Amos, and Bat for Lashes.
