Lisa Hannigan is an Irish indie folk singer-songwriter from Kilcloon, County Meath.
Starting her music career in 2001, as a member of Damien Rice’s band, she launched her solo career in 2007, releasing her debut solo album, ‘Sea Sew’, in 2008, which was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. Her second album, ‘Passenger’, was released in 2011 and she is set to release her latest album, ‘At Swim’, on August 19, 2016. She has headlined her own shows and tours across Ireland and UK, and has supported the likes of David Gray. Lisa Hannigan will play a Ireland and Northern Ireland tour in December in support of her new album, ‘At Swim’, as well as a show at London’s Roundhouse in January 2017 as part of their In The Round concert series.
