The Bronx are an American hardcore punk band hailing from Los Angeles California - who also have a tendency to perform Mariachi music too. Forming in 2002 they currently consist of original members Matt Caughthran (vocals) Joby J. Ford (guitar) and Jorma Vik (drums) alongside new bassist Brad Magers and Ken Horne who joined the band as a second guitarist in 2006.
Having released three eponymous rock albums in 2003 2006 and 2008 they then swapped to their alter egos Mariachi El Bronx for two eponymous Mariachi albums in 2009 and 2011. 2013 saw them return for their fourth instalment of their The Bronx album series, but in November 2014, Mariachi El Bronx came back for III, their third mariachi record.
