Marilyn Manson is an American industrial metal singer-songwriter and musician from Fort Lauderdale, Florida and also a band featuring Marilyn Manson, Twiggy, Paul Wiley, Gil Sharone, Daniel Fox and Tyler Bates.

Formed in 1989, under the name Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids, they released their debut album, ‘Portrait of an American Family’, in 1994, but it was their second album, ‘Antichrist Superstar’, which was released in 1996, which gained them international success, reaching #3 in the Billboard 200.

Their third album, ‘Mechanical Animals’, released in 1998, gave the band their first #1 hit, as did their fifth album, ‘The Golden Age of Grotesque’, released in 2003. The band are set to release their latest and tenth album, ‘Heaven Upside Down’, in 2017.
